Why some people are homosexual? Some people believe that
genetics, social or individual factors, alone or in combination, may constitute their sexual orientation . There is no scientifically sound research indicating their support the cause is due to troubled family relationships. But we have to realized that homosexuality is not a disease. People cannot be forced or pressurized to change their sexuality. Irrational fear, prejudice or
discrimination towards homosexuals may lead to homophobia which is based entirely on one's fear and ignorance. Name calling, teasing and even assault and murder are the behaviours we hate to see. We are living in New Zealand, a free society advocating human rights. If you are a homosexual, you should not be ashamed or afraid of coming out of the closet to share your feeling with your parents or your friends that you trust. But it is your decision and judgment whether it is alright but not boastful under the circumstances to reveal your sexual orientation.
To end this blog,
Catch the Gay in YouTube would bring a much hilarious side to give the gay people a poke in the ribs.
When I was young I used to think that the homosexuality was fake, I thought those people were just acting to get peoples' attentions. However, I now agree with you that it is natural thing for humans and really no one should be ashamed or be afraid of coming out :)
ReplyDeleteNicely done blog Joe,alot of research seems to have been put in. I agree with the elemnet you added on 'homosexuality and religion'. I think that when it comes to religion people get far too caught up in these kind of things. At the end of the day, like you said it's not that they chose to be like they are.
